For the Total Fight Challenge 125 lb. title, Moses Dixon, a fighter from the Rebels of Destruction will be fighting against Ricky Alaniz.
Dixon said he has a background in wrestling and has also been training for about two and a half years in mma. He feels that the transition has been a success and he is ready to show it in the cage.
“I got into this sport because one of my friends told me about it and since I used to wrestle in high school, it has become natural to me now. I like it but its been a tough road. At first I was fighting out of my weight class but now I went down, its become easier and I’m winning now,” said Dixon.
Dixon considers himself a well-rounded fighter but enjoys countering his opponents.
“I counter my opponent, for example, if he’s a stand-up fighter, I’ll take him to the ground. If he’s a ground fighter, I’ll use stand-up against him. I fight to be my opponents weakness,” said Dixon.
According to Dixon, the only thing that Dixon knows about his opponent is his first name and he hasn’t seen any of his previous fights.
When asked what can the fans expect from his performance, Dixon said, “They should expect a win. I’m going to try to finish it as quick as possible. My cardio is good but I don’t want to fight the whole five rounds but we’ll see.”
“Rebels of Destruction…all day,” ended Dixon.
