Pro/Amateur Show

Total Fight Challenge hosted a pro and amateur mixed martial arts event at the Willowbrook Ballroom. Over 15 fighters stepped into the cage to give the fans nine exciting fights.

The night opened with a kickboxing match between Ramiro Marquez and Macel Dubose and ended with the main event, and fourth pro fight of the night which was between Mike Cannon and Mike Glosser.

In the amateur card, after a tough five round fight against Ricky Alanis, Askar Askar became the new TFC Featherweight Champion.

The following are some of the many teams that were in attendance: Combat Zone, Chicago Fight Team, Team No Comment, Elite Performance, Top Notch and Team Mota

Total Fight Challenge will host their next event on Friday, November 22.


1. Ramiro Marquez (Elite Performance) vs. Marcel Dubose (Combat Zone)
Winner: Marcel Dubose wins by Unanimous Decision.

2. Jonathan King (Combat Zone) vs. Edwin Martinez (Goytia’s Martial Arts)Winner: Jonathan King wins by Knockout in 0:19 seconds of Round 1.

3. David Chavez (Team No Comment) vs. Jose Lucio (Chicago Fight Team)
Winner: Jose Lucio defeats Chavez in 1:41 or Round 2 via a tapout due to strikes.

4. Theo Davis (Combat Zone) vs. Angel Carillo (Team Mota/Vitari)
Winner: Theo Davis wins by Unanimous Decision.

TFC Featherweight Title Fight
5. Askar Askar (Elite MMA) vs. Ricky Alanis (Team Mota)
Winner: After 5 rounds of fighting, Askar wins by Unanimous Decision.
Askar becomes the new TFC Featherweight Champion.


6. Matt Ambrose vs. Brandon Priest (Top Notch)
Winner: Priest defeats Ambrose in 5:00 of Round 1 via a triangle choke.

7. DeCarlo Johnson (Team ASD) vs. Yousef Al-Ghoul (Top Notch)
Winner: Al-Ghoul defeats Johnson by submission in 3:08 of Round 1 via a rear naked choke.

8. Pedro Velasco (Team No Comment) vs. Adam Ward
Winner: Ward defeats Velasco by submission in 0:42 seconds of Round 1 via a rear naked choke.

9. Michael Glosser vs. Mike Cannon
Winner: Cannon defeats Glosser in 0:37 seconds of Round 2 via a guillotine choke.
